Tech Stack
The tools, platforms, and systems behind modern SEO and GEO at scale.
OVERVIEW
I use AI across every layer of my process. Semantic network analysis to map entity relationships and content gaps. Claude for research synthesis and strategic analysis. Custom workflows connecting DataForSEO, Firecrawl, and n8n to automate competitive intelligence at scale.
The result is an SEO process built for how search actually works now, not how it worked three years ago. Below is the full stack, organized by function, with context on how each tool fits into client engagements.
TECH STACK
What I use and why.
Semantic & Entity Analysis
InfraNodus — Semantic network analysis
The core of my entity mapping process. I use InfraNodus to build semantic network graphs that reveal topical relationships, structural gaps, and white space opportunities. When building topical maps for clients, every cluster maps to entity relationships, not keyword lists. The graph output directly informs content architecture, internal linking strategy, and GEO optimization targets.
Claude — AI research and strategic analysis
Primary AI for research synthesis, content analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic reasoning. Claude handles everything from processing SERP data and synthesizing competitor positioning to drafting frameworks and analyzing entity relationships across knowledge systems. Integrated into automated workflows via API.
Search Data & Intelligence
DataForSEO — SERP data and keyword intelligence
API-first search data platform. I pull SERP features, keyword volumes, competitor rankings, and AI Overview data programmatically. Connected to n8n workflows for automated competitive monitoring and content gap detection. Provides the raw search intelligence that feeds strategic decisions.
Semrush — Competitive research and rank tracking
Used for broad competitive analysis, backlink auditing, keyword gap analysis, and historical ranking data. Primary tool for identifying competitor content strategies and tracking organic visibility trends over time.
Google Search Console — Performance tracking and indexation
Direct Google performance data: impressions, clicks, CTR, and average position. Core measurement layer for tracking the impact of SEO changes. Also used for indexation monitoring, crawl error detection, and structured data validation.
Google Analytics — Traffic analysis and conversion tracking
GA4 for understanding user behavior post-click: session quality, conversion paths, engagement metrics, and revenue attribution. Connected to organic performance data for full-funnel visibility from search impression through to pipeline.
AI Visibility & GEO
Hall — AI citation monitoring
Tracks brand mentions and citations across AI search surfaces: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Gemini. Monitors how and where client brands appear in LLM-generated responses. Provides the measurement layer for GEO that traditional rank trackers cannot.
Firecrawl — Web scraping and content extraction
API-based web scraper integrated via MCP. Used for competitive content analysis, citation source research, and structured data extraction at scale. Feeds into automated workflows for monitoring competitor pages, extracting entity data, and building content intelligence pipelines.
Automation & Workflows
n8n — Workflow automation
Self-hosted automation platform connecting every tool in this stack. Runs competitive intelligence pipelines, content monitoring workflows, automated reporting, and data transformation jobs. The connective layer that turns individual tools into a unified system. Workflows trigger on schedules, webhooks, or manual runs depending on the use case.
Technical SEO
Screaming Frog — Site crawling and technical audits
Desktop crawler for deep technical SEO audits: crawl architecture analysis, redirect chain detection, structured data validation, internal link mapping, and Core Web Vitals integration. The foundation of every technical audit I run.
Design & Content Operations
Notion — Knowledge management and project workspace
Primary workspace for client engagements. Houses content calendars, keyword research databases, editorial workflows, strategy documentation, and project tracking. Every client gets a structured Notion workspace with standardized templates for briefs, audits, and reporting.
Figma — Page design and information architecture
Used for designing page layouts, information architecture diagrams, content wireframes, and UX mockups. Visual planning tool for translating content strategy into page-level structure before development.
Netlify — Hosting and deployment
Hosting layer for static sites and Jamstack deployments. Used for client microsites, landing page experiments, and performance-critical pages where full server control is needed.
